We are halfway through the semester and halfway through fall. Need some easy but autumn-approved looks for class, the library, or the dining hall? Scroll to see some picks that do the job.
- Cardigans- Cardigans have inched their way out of the H&M basics section of the store and onto my Instagram feed, and to that I say YAY! I remember combing through the cardigan section back in high school to find something cute to wear over my school uniform abaya, so major throwback.
2. Oversized Long Sleeve T-Shirts- These were my absolute go-tos during the beginning of the semester when it was burning outside but freezing in the classrooms/library. I’d wear it with wide-legged pants or jeans. Since they were in basic hues like white, grey and cream they were super versatile. Now that fall is kind of here, it’s the perfect thing to layer with–jean jackets, cargo jackets, vests, the aforementioned cardigans. I got mine from ASOS.
3. Anything But Skinny Jeans- Break out of that skinny jean rut with a new silhouette, think straight-legged or flared. Or trade in your neutrals for some pattern/texture play, in this season’s many checked and corduroy options. I love the look of straight-legged jeans paired with an ankle or combat boot.
